First off happy Memorial Day. Hope everyone has
had a great day. We went to a park today and Jonathan played with one
of his homeschool buddies. That will turn out to be wonderful
friendship. They get along great.
This post is just an update to my ever busy life.
I
went to the ER doc on Saturday due to extreme vertigo. At one point I
was in the car puking and my hands went numb and I couldn't move them.
It scared me. They literally got stuck and cramped into one position
(never happened before). The ER doc gave me an IV of fluids and valium
through the IV. She then stated that she wanted me to call my primary
doc and have him do some tests for MS.
Following up on my
nerve block, the doc at the ER was doing strength tests on all my
limbs, stated my RSD leg was weaker, and flared it up to a 5 (I know,
not a 8-10, but I did have a couple days at a 2). I will be calling my
PM doc to let him know about my ER visit and inform him of my gradual
increase in pain, and find out when I will be having my second block. I
had wonderful relief (short, but great) and want to get in to have
another. Research (personal testimony) has shown that the 2nd one lasts
longer.
