Switching various things
So I am leaving Yahoo. I am just not happy with them at all. I have most of my stuff switched over to Gmail already. However, I have just come to learn that Windows Live, that gets downloaded to your desktop, has a blog writer that allows me to set up my various blog accounts, and post to them all from my desktop.
As it is, I am able to use Google's ScribeFire to post to my WordPress and Blogger blogs. Since starting my own website and my own blog site, I haven't been able to find any desktop blogging clients that allow me to publish to my site. I couldn't even get ScribeFire to work. So yeah, I am happy about that.
Back to my Yahoo rant. Have you noticed that Yahoo's home page, you know the one you set up with personal content that you want, has advertising on it?? I mean on it - directly in the middle of where your "content" is supposed to sit. How lame is that? If you are going to advertise, darnit, do it above or below, but not right where I am to place things that I want there.
I guess this is kind of a silly rant. I think that I am just done with Yahoo. I will still post on the blog I have there. Hopefully when they switch 360 over to it's new interface, I will be able to set up Windows Live Writer to publish my posts to there also. I have to visit both Yahoo and MySpace to post my blogs.
When I am done typing this post I will attempt to setup Blogger, WordPress, MySpace, and Yahoo. You are probably thinking, "Wow, you post in a LOT of places." Yes, I do. I do for a reason though. There are people on MySpace who are not on Yahoo, and vice versa. I am trying, with my writings, to reach the masses and give insight into a persons life who is Afflicted with RSD/CRPS. Hopefully, just from my writings, I can convince someone to give just a little more compassion to the person standing next to you; because you never know what they are going through.
My next post will be about Conspiracy Theories. I have two of them I would like to get off my chest. I want to see what you all think about my ideas. ![]()
Pain free air hugs, cause my back can't be touched right now,
Christine
