Bone Scans and other Visual Signs of RSD

A question recently came up about Bone Scans and if they can "prove" you have RSD/CRPS. The honest answer is not always and not with every person - It's basically just like any and all other tests with RSD - the ONLY proven factor is PAIN. Sucks doesn't it?

Here are some links I have found about bone scans.

Now other visual signs. Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) is a totally non-invasive clinical imaging procedure for detecting and monitoring a number of diseases and physical injuries, by showing the thermal abnormalities present in the body. Please see the following links with more information on them.

Whether your pain is "Acute" or "Chronic", DITI can help you, and your healthcare professional to safely get you back to better health.

Eternal Health Clinic is providing the answers in the diagnosis of pain and unlike most diagnostic test D.I.T.I. is:
  • Non Invasive
  • No Radiation
  • Painless
  • No Contact With The Body
  • No Risks or Side Effects
  • F.D.A Approved

  • Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging is used in Sports Medicine and Musculoskeletal Disorders.

My daughter had a bone scan and it didn't show RSD but she had every other sign - the discoloration, the hyper sensitivity etc.. and the Dr said the scan was bull - she obviously had RSD. I like Drs who don't just go by the tests.
